May I start by introducing myself to those of you who don’t already know me. Regular readers of Roo’s excellent column (£5 please gaffer, or £3 for cash!) will have often read about what Pete’s been up to. In the August 2009 issue of Carp and Coarse Angler, I wrote about the culmination of my pursuit of a double-figure bream. It may have taken many years, but I was elated when I finally reached that milestone. After a close call with a fish of 9lb 15oz, I was rewarded on the next trip by a fish of 10lb 1oz. Those two ounces meant so much to me!
